- Monitor LPC’s compliance with CDE mandates and fiscal solvency
- Oversee implementation of funds related to LPC activities and mandates
- Disseminate Comprehensive Countywide Child Care plan to interested parties including the Board of Supervisors, County Office of Education, Board of Education, businesses, government, parents and community agencies
- Review and revise meeting and subcommittee format as needed

A Chair will be elected for and by each Committee and
appointed by the Planning Council Chair.

- Community collaborative projects that meet Local Planning Council goals and objectives
- Advise implementation of AB212 and other governmental and private funding
- Analyze outcomes of Project Advisory Committee projects and make recommendations for future direction
- Share project information with Local Planning Council board members and other appropriate committees or stakeholders

- Develop LPC as a resource on current legislation regarding child care issues
